Honey is by far my favorite sweetener. Not only is it a natural sweetener, but it also contains antioxidants for the body, helping to fight and lower inflammation. Golden Honey, is a particular variation of honey that brings it’s benefit to another level. Not only is does this honey give off a sweet gold color, but it also brings golden value to our body!
Ingredients: Honey. Ground Ginger, Turmeric, Ceylon Cinnamon, and Black Pepper

Recipe Ratio: For every 8 tbsp (1/2 cup) of honey, mix in 1 tsp each of ground ginger, turmeric, and ceylon cinnamon (along with a couple pinches of black pepper)
Steps: Get yourself a small jar or container. There’s no special skills required for this one! Simple add in your honey and spices and mix well!
Some additional options add-ons you could try are Cayenne Pepper, Cloves, and Garlic. Personally, I haven’t tried any of these yet, but I will in future batches!
The Power of Golden Honey
- Honey, Cinnamon Ginger, Turmeric: All rich in unique antioxidants helping us fight inflammation
- Black Pepper: Activates the Turmeric, allowing us to absorb and reap it’s beneficial compounds much better! Even though it’s just a couple pinches, don’t forget your pepper!
- Ceylon Cinnamon: Also shown to have a strong role in blood sugar regulation, promoting our cells more responsive to insulin;
You can drizzle this over toast or yogurt, mix it in your coffee or tea, or simply have a small spoonful as a daily anti-inflammatory remedy! Give this powerful honey a try, and let me how it goes for you!

I’m going to make this! Could I use raw honey? Or is the consistency not right for the recipe?
Hello! Yes, raw honey will work great for this! It’s actually what I’ve been using when making this! Enjoy, and let me know how it goes!
